We have created a platform that was delivered for company Insoft Development & Consulting SRL as a subcontractor for the final client County Alba School Inspectorate in the project „Why, how and what I am learning?”, co-financed by the European Structural Fund.
The main objective of the project was to develop a platform for e-learning, especially management of competitions for students (target group – 15,000 students). Competitions were conducted through the platform a combination of e-learning and games, so learning and assessment materials have been delivered to the student as a game, organized by levels and sublevels. One of the innovative functionality of the platform was adaptability, more concrete referring to the movement of the pupil in the competitions in an intelligent way. For example, in a test, we wanted to create the possibility of jumping automatically to a sublevel lower / higher if certain conditions are met (expressed by variable algorithms). Also the platform has interactive capabilities such as invitations and recommendations among students on the application of certain competitions (for who could score points in competition) or monitoring counseling activities of the advisers.
